Darren Owen
Coach Darren Owen was raised in a ski family 7 miles from Alta, Utah. Growing up in Little Cottonwood Canyon, he developed a love for all aspects of skiing at an early age. He was surrounded by the influences of accomplished World Cup and pro Freestyle skiers. This led to a long competitive skiing and coaching career. Darren has been very fortunate to work with amazing athletes and parents over the years. Darren is still a daily skier and passionate about coaching.

· 2004-2008 – Private Coach for Patrick Deneen, Cle Elum, Washington
· 2006-2008 – Coach – British National Freestyle Team, Mt Hood, Oregon
· 2016-2018 – Coach – Idaho Freeride Team, Boise, Idaho
All High West Freestyle coaches, staff, and volunteers are U.S. Ski & Snowboard members, which includes SafeSport training and background checks.
